Back in the Real World, projections were that work on my house would be done by February, so insurance would no longer cover my hotel stay. Trouble was, in the REAL Real World, my house most definitely wasn't habitable. Fortunately, our friend Digital_Rampage came to our rescue and let us crash at his place again. I did a little more minis-painting and cat-sitting this month. Also, the "PODS" storage units would no longer be covered, but at least I could use the garage and certain parts of the house for storage (as long as I kept things away from the walls), so I called in for final delivery. Watching the PODZILLA at work is kind of awesome. I'm sure I would have been utterly fascinated as a kid watching this hydraulic "robot" move these huge boxes around.

Getting everything unloaded would have cost me $4000+, which wasn't covered. Thus, I did an awful lot of lifting and moving quickly, to get everything out of that PODS unit before it was scheduled to be picked up again, then repeat with the next one. I learned that I'm capable of carrying a lot more than I thought I could. Hand trucks are also very useful. Fortunately, I had some help on a couple of the largest items that were physically impossible for me to move single-handedly (china cabinet, antique couch). The PODZILLA came for a second pickup for the second PODS unit, and that was at least taken care of.

The Goblin Merchant
A goblin merchant and his two modified Harvest Golem bodyguards/cargo-carriers. (A recurring NPC who sells magic items, but they don't come identified -- you only find out what they DO after you buy them. Caveat emptor, and all that.)

The Icefernal
In a recent RP session, the adventurers went up against some "icefernals" conjured by some Primalist shamans.

I mean, it's a male duck, and he breathes lightning, so he's obviously a storm-drake. This was from a time-rifty adventure where a gnome character and her duck sidekick got to encounter their "alternate-universe" equivalents in a confrontation.

Spicy Chili Mantis Shrimp
Another regular "feature" I've been helping out with is to make illustrations for a weekly recipe article. The final image is pretty small and thumbnail-like, so I can get away with fairly rough details. Although the recipes are real, there's an attempt to give them an "Azerothian" spin by making shout-outs to in-game ingredients, regions, etc.
