The Outhouse Incident
Starting on July 1st, I went on a road trip, and wasn't in any position to be signing into World of Warcraft to "report" on markets or participate in RP, but I tried to keep up on the RP exploits of the guild in my absence and submit some (short) articles in the meantime. I at least got a bit about the antics of the PCs fighting some cursed runes planted around Amberpine Lodge (in one case BLOWING UP an outhouse with a rune hidden in it), leading to this picture. That took some nagging to get the details, and for the rest of the month I was sufficiently distracted not to have the time to go chasing down stories, alas.
Anyway ... KABLOOIE! I actually like the Grizzly Hills region (in Northrend / Frozen Throne expansion) and the ambience, but the quests there are kind of weird.

Sunset Over Market Street
Doodle of a narrow shop-lined street at sunset.

Fire vs. Fangs
Belated illustration of a dwarven fire mage fighting off a horde of feral worgen from an adventure RP session shortly before my "vacation." Actually, the dwarf is a dragon, it seems. This is, like, the third PC in this group who's turned out to be "secretly a dragon." All the cool kids are dragons, it seems. With the new expansion coming out, I imagine dragons will be positively passe.

Mel'Rokk, Sethrek Stormwind Guard
Some folks like to put a little more work into playing oddball races, making use of in-game toys and various tricks to extend the "buff" duration. One such player would be "Mel'rokk," who plays a Sethrek, but this requires some multi-boxing and scripts to keep the "I'm a snake-man!" illusion going (and it's only practical when in friendly areas such as Stormwind). No, he doesn't actually have Stormwind Guard armor in-game (the "make you look like race X" toys generally DO NOT give you choices re: attire); that's artistic license on my part.

Stormwind City Hall Guards
A couple more Stormwind Guard PCs drawn as guarding City Hall.

There are a bunch of "make you look like (random unplayable NPC race)" toys that I really wish could do without the "3 minute duration / 2 hour cooldown" (or some variation thereof) drawbacks. The buffs already go away if you get into combat, so I'd struggle to figure out what PVP "edge" it would offer.
