Heh. I hadn't quite thought of it that way. Unlike Star Trek 3D, however, I wouldn't be putting the platforms *on top of* each other. It would be more just for the "illusion of floating," and I'd likely lay down a plastic sheet of some color for the "endless void" below. (I suppose I should decide upon either a starfield black, solid black, vague cloudy grey, sky blue, toxic green, or whatnot. If I had the paint on hand, I'd go out and spray-paint a sheet black -- well, THAT I have -- and then paint on some purple-blue "clouds" for maximum surreal effect.)
