I saw a Beastar or two in the comic store, in manga form, but it didn't really grab me. After I finish watching DS9 (it's my exercise amusement for the time being) I'll have to consider if I want to see it, or mewve on to Voyager or something else.

Your review kind of confirms my impression that the story was a bit all over the place and the art was a little grotesque in 'mood'.
